Hallo nach dem hier ja der Custom Wahn ausgebrochen ist, will ich nun mal die Marke Sailboards Tarifa vorstellen.
Sergio und sein Team produziert in einer neuerrichteten CustomMade Fabrik, jährlich bis zu 150 Boards aller Art.
Ich selber habe gerade in den letzten Wochen vermehrt Boards von ST getestet, da nun das 3te "Cobra" Produkt aus meiner Boardrange innerhalb von wenigen Monaten, den Surfbedingungen in Tarifa zu Opfer gefallen ist.
Hauptsächlich Wave, Freewave und Freestyleboards habe ich ausprobiert.
Klar das sich solche Board zu den seriengefertigten Boards aus den "Billiglohnländern" unterscheiden.
Gerade im Verhältnis Gewicht/Haltbarkeit gibt im Moment kaum eine Marke die mit einem handgefertigten Board von Sailboards Tarifa mithalten kann.
Viele Tarifa Urlauber werden sich gewundert haben das fast jedes 2 Board der Locals hier ein SBT ist. Mittlerweile benutzen viele belgische, portugiesische, französische und holländische Fahrer ebenfalls Boards aus Tarifa.
Wo bekomme ich schon ein Wunschbrett nach Angaben und mit Absprache beim Shaper ab 1799 Euro, wie gesagt handgefertigte Voll Carbon Sandwich Bauweise.

PHOTON
Our most radical waveboard. Shaped with very thin rails, a more compact outline, and extra rocker in the tail, for optimum surfing and down-the-line performance in cross and cross-off wave conditions.

ATOMICA

SLALOM Boards
Rocker, outline, rails and hull shapes are designed to perform best in all fields, such as having higher top speed while still providing the necessary control when sailing in strong winds. Compact designs in larger sizes provide maximum lift, helping the board to plane faster. In the smaller sizes this compact design gives way to a more curved hull shape with sharper outlines enhancing control and providing a smoother ride through chop.
Each size has its own rocker line for maximum performance. The comparatively high volume in the tail makes it pop back to plane immediately after the jibe while allowing a lower center of gravity that increases control when sailing hard. Thanks to our hand built construction with ultra-light high quality materials you can get the weights and riding characteristics typical of the competition prototypes that are improving the performance of boards available on the market today.

My new wave boards from Sailboards Tarifa are excellent! I tried the small and the large SBT in waves at Matanzas, Pupuya and Topocalma. I like the new boards alot!, they turn well, they are lively, very easy and stable- especially when the winds are critical.
Twinzers must be the best for waveriding- thats what I think!
